I purchased a Droid 2 about 15 months ago from wirefly.com. The first phone I received was overheating and doing other bad things, I contacted wirefly and they sent another phone while I sent the bad one back. They required a deposit but that is understandable. The bad phone was confirmed by them to be bad and my CC was quickly credited the deposit. I have had no problems with the replacement phone and look forward to buying another from wirefly for my wife who wants the Samsung Nexus.

Tuan, It’s hard to say what the problem might be without seeing your phone. Have you shut your phone off and re-started it? If that doesn’t help, stop at a Verizon store and ask an employee there to take a look at your phone. Good luck!

Scott, Wirefly sells only new phones, never refurbished. Prior to shipping the phone to you, we open the box, insert the battery and confirm that the phone works. We install SIM cards in phones that require them. That way, you get a phone that is ready to be used. Keep in mind that you have 30 days to return the phone (and we pay the return shipping!) if you are not satisfied.

Hi Bob,
Thanks so much for the great reviews. Still the best review of teh Tbolt out. I was wondering if you could speak to the rumors regarding the battery life of the Tbolt since you have a working model with you?
Based on the review, I assume you do not have 4G service as of yet so. Even so, can you please let us know if there any metrics you can provide (besides 1400MaH)about the battery.

Although it seems like I should have weeks of experience with the ThunderBolt by now, the reality is that other phones come in and I must turn my attention to them. Therefore, I don’t spend days using the ThunderBolt. I did create a video to test the battery life of the ThunderBolt, which you can see here:

Is the skype gonna work right out of the box and is the battery issue fixed?

The HTC ThunderBolt will not be shipping with Skype capability. As for the battery, the battery that comes with the ThunderBolt works fine. You can see a video we made demonstrating battery life here:
