The HTC ThunderBolt is the first phone to use the high-speed LTE network for Verizon Wireless. With Internet data speeds as high as 20 Mbps, the ThunderBolt is poised to shake up the wireless industry with its combination of power and speed. However, many people don’t know that the LTE 4G function in the ThunderBolt requires a SIM card – without the SIM, the ThunderBolt will connect only to Verizon’s 3G CDMA network.
