One of the great virtues of the Android operating system is that it is flexible enough to work with a wide variety of phones in a range of configurations. Proving that point is the new LG DoublePlay for T-Mobile, which has a 3.5-inch main display and a 2-inch auxiliary display that slides out with a thumb-friendly QWERTY keyboard. Powered by Android 2.3, a 1GHz processor and 4G networking, the DoublePlay gives you the sort of choice that you can only get with Android.

In this video, Wirefly’s Bob Kovacs unboxes the LG DoublePlay and its accessories, showing what’s in the package. He also fires up the phone and comments on some of the DoublePlay’s features. Click on the video window to the right to get all the details.
