The new Motorola Droid Pro on Verizon Wireless is targeted at business and power users. With a built-in QWERTY keyboard and global network support, the Droid Pro brings the the Droid style and power to a single handset with international reach.
The Droid Pro is packed with features, including a five-megapixel camera (with dual-LED flash), 1 GHz processor and WiFi hotspot functionality. Plus, the Droid Pro runs Android 2.2, the latest version of Google’s popular operating system.
The Droid Pro’s 3.1-inch LCD screen has a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, below which is a QWERTY keyboard with ergonomically shaped keys. The phone comes with a 2 GB microSD card installed, and will support cards up to 32 GB.
One of the Droid Pro’s most distinguishing features is its ability to work with both Verizon’s CDMA network in the U.S., as well as GSM networks in much of the rest of the world. With its speedy processor and Android 2.2 flexibility (including support for Adobe Flash content), the Droid Pro makes sense for people who need to pack power when they travel.
