Verizon’s customers have been raving about the fast download speeds they get with the network’s 4G LTE technology. Although there has been one LTE phone designed to be affordable (the Pantech Breakout), most LTE phones for Verizon have been at the high end of the price range. With the Samsung Stratosphere, Verizon adds a reasonably priced LTE Android phone with lots of desirable features, including one of the best physical slide-out keyboards in the cellular industry. Based on Samsung’s acclaimed Galaxy S series of phones, the Stratosphere also features a pretty four-inch Super AMOLED display, the Android 2.3 operating system and an uprated battery for longer time between charges.
In this video, Wirefly’s Bob Kovacs does a full review of the Samsung Stratosphere, including demonstrating its camera features and showing how the phone performs on standard benchmark tests. Click on the video window to the right to get all the details.
