Verizon has a winner with its speedy 4G LTE network, and the new Samsung Stratosphere brings a proven design to Verizon’s popular network. The Stratosphere is one of Samsung’s well-regarded Galaxy S phones, all of which feature a beautiful four-inch Super AMOLED display that is one of the best on any cell phone. The Stratosphere slides open to reveal a fine five-row keyboard that has a dedicated row of numbers — no more pressing a “function” key to access the numbers. And then there is Verizon’s fast LTE network, which achieves download speeds similar to what you get at home with a cable modem. With an affordable price, the bottom line for the Stratosphere is looking pretty good.
