The BlackBerry PlayBook is the first tablet device from RIM, the manufacturer of the iconic BlackBerry line. The PlayBook has a seven-inch screen, tight compatibility with BlackBerry devices, and an elegant operating system that lets the tablet be used the same way in any orientation. Interestingly, the BlackBerry PlayBook can be charged with an ordinary cell phone charger (using the PlayBook’s microUSB port), which makes one fewer thing you need to pack on a business trip.

You can view a “faux” unboxing of the BlackBerry PlayBook, as well as a brief look at the way it operates, in the video window to the right. Just click on the window to play the video.
