The nomination period ends April 15, 2010.
Finalists will be selected by Wirefly staff from the list of nominations. Blogs with the most nominations will be given extra weight.
On April 16, 2010, the finalists will be announced and user voting will be opened on the category page to determine the winners.

This is ridiculous…your rules state “Selection of Winner: Simplexity will select five (5) finalists in each category. The selection of finalists will be based on the number of nominations and category relevancy as determined in the Simplexity judges’ sole discretion.”
I understand the “sole discretion” part, but what about the finalist being based on numbers of nominations and category relevancy…I mean we clearly have the most nominations on this blog under most if not all the categories and we do not get nominated as finalist. This blog award is a joke” why even have any votes be casted why not just call the a blog award from wirefly.com chosen solely by wirefly.com with no outside involvement, unless the voting was just a way for you to have traffic directed to your site.
