Verizon Home Phone Connect Overview (New Version)

Most American homes still have a traditional wired land-line phone, and most of these households also have cell phone accounts. If you’d like to cut the cost of the wired home phone, last year Verizon Wireless introduced the Home Phone Connect that lets you do just that. Now Verizon has a new version of the Home Phone Connect that delivers the same features in a much smaller package.

Once you understand what it does and how it works, the Verizon Home Phone Connect is easy to connect and use. Since it uses Verizon’s wireless network, it has certain advantages that you can’t get in a wired phone line.

The Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect has two connectors on the back that are compatible with standard desk/wall phones. With the Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect, you use your home phone as you always have: Pick it up and get a dial tone, then dial the call and hear the standard Touch-Tone beeps. You receive calls just as you always have, and your desk phone will ring in the same way that it’s done for years. You can even connect the Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect to your home’s internal phone wiring, as long as you disconnect your home’s internal wiring from the land-line wire now leading to your home.

One other interesting capability of the Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect is that you can travel with it. If you take two weeks at the beach every year, you can pack the Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect with you and have your home phone number at the beach cottage. Likewise, you can use it at a second home or any other location where you get Verizon Wireless reception – where ever the Verizon Wireless Home Phone Connect is, that’s where your home phone is. LG Spectrum Review

The LG Spectrum is the latest Android phone from Verizon Wireless to feature a large display with 720p resolution. In addition to this true high-definition display, the Spectrum also features a 1.5-GHz dual-core processor, 4G connectivity on Verizon’s speedy LTE network, and surprisingly trim size and light weight.
