Not sure I understand what your talking about when you say “black out”. You can get a black background for the cosmo and you can lock the screen of the cosmo. Let me know a little more detail and I will try to help you.

It allows you to use your Cosmos as a modem for your computer. Please check with your service provider before you do this because it may change the data plan that you have on your account already and in my experience it is difficult to set up.

My LG Cosmos 2 suddenly will not send messages that have over one page. It was doing it this morning, but now it just keeps saying “message failed.” I tried turning my phone off, then on (actually three different times), but then when I turn the phone back on, the messages I tried to send are blank.
Kathryn, I don’t know what may be wrong with your LG Cosmos 2. You can try going to a Verizon store and have someone there check it. But it’s possible that the text feature on your Cosmos 2 is now broken. Someone at the Verizon store may be able to check it and determine if that is the case.
My wife and I have identical Cosmos 2 phones. When she sends me a text that extends to a second page, I only receive the second page. When I send her a long text, she receives the entire message. We have compared settings, changed font sizes – how do I rectify this matter?
Michael, it’s hard to say from a distance what is causing you to see only the second page. I recommend that you take both phones to a Verizon store and have them looked at… it’s possible that your phone is broken in some way.

I have purchased a motorola Oasis Bluetooth and worked great but now 9months later will now pair up with device. Ear piece says phone not connected push 0000 if required but that does not work. I’ve pushed turn device on and searching for device comes up but not connecting. HELP?????
Dwain, can you try the Oasis with another phone to see if it will pair with that phone? This should help you determine if the Oasis is the problem or your phone. If the Oasis works with a different phone, then your phone has a problem. If the Oasis doesn’t work with a different phone, then the Oasis is broken. That will tell you what to do next… good luck!

I would like the phone keypad to lock when I am not using it.
Is there an easier way to lock the keypad than going through the menu to ‘Lock phone now’?
When I do choose ‘Lock phone now’it still allows numbers to be pressed. It is always calling out numbers when I put it into the case or touch the keypad.

Mike, when you finish a call, hit “End” and then hold down the “0″ for about two seconds. That will lock the key board.
