The new HTC EVO 3D is making a lot of waves with its 3D photo and video capability. Many people want to know just how the 3D video looks and how well it will work in typical situations. This video shows both 2D and 3D video from the EVO 3D, as well as video from a Canon consumer camcorder that is used for comparison. (The Canon camcorder is a Vixia HF-S31.) If you have a 3D imaging device such as an EVO 3D, Nintendo 3DS or 3D HDTV, you should be able to watch the 3D clip in true 3D. The video is uploaded to YouTube in 720p HD.

Click on the box to the right to run the video. Again, to see 3D, you will need a 3D display device. Wirefly begins shipping the HTC EVO 3D on June 24, 2011.
