The Nexus S from Google has many people wondering how it compares to the other great smartphones currently available. Since more people are spending more time surfing the Web from their phones, it makes sense to see if there is a difference in the way phones can access the Internet. Wirefly conducted a simple test to show the respective Internet page-loading speeds of the HTC Evo 4G and the Google Nexus S, which you can view in the video on the right.

A browser speed test has lots of variables and Wirefly does not claim that the test you see is highly scientific. However, it is one way to compare two popular phones that are leaders in the cellular industry. Be sure to view Wirefly’s other browser speed comparisons, which pit the Nexus S against the Apple iPhone 4 and the T-Mobile myTouch 4G.

Wirefly has a wide variety of videos on cell phones, from reviews to head-to-head Schmackdowns that compare two popular phones at once. Visit Wirefly’s YouTube channel for the latest information on cell phones.

The HTC Evo 4G on the Sprint network is now available at Wirefly.
