Q. If I place a pre-order reservation, when will my credit card be charged?

A. When you submit your order, your credit card will be authorized for the full amount; however, your card will be charged only when the phone is activated and shipped to you. If you cancel your order before shipment, the prior authorization will be released and your credit card will not be charged.

Q. If I place a pre-order reservation, can I cancel my order?

A. Yes. You may cancel your reservation order before shipment. Please note that phones will be shipped in the order that reservations were received. Canceling and then placing a new order will move you to the back of the queue.

Q. If I place a pre-order reservation, when will I receive my smartphone?

A. We will begin shipping orders on the official carrier’s launch date, which is subject to change. If you order additional devices (such as with a family plan), we will hold your entire order until all the phones are ready to ship.

Q. If I place a pre-order reservation, will you send me updates?

A. Yes, we will keep you informed as we move through the reservation and shipment process.

    When will my activation fees be credited to my account?

    • Hi Erin,
      It normally takes two to three bill cycles to get your activation fee credit. If it has been longer than that please give us a call at 800-552-9000 and we will look in to it for you.

  • I want to cancel my order before it ships. It says that the estimated shipping is tomorrow, 4/12/12, but the customer service area is closed. Is there anyway to cancel so that it will not be shipped? What happens if I can not cancel in time? And will canceling the phone get rid of my eligibility to upgrade for verizon?

      I can help you see if we can get your order canceled before it ships but I need you to send you contact information and order number to onlinesupport@Wirefly.com and I will have a customer service manager reach out to you to assist. If they are not able to cancel your order they will explain how to return it an get your upgrade eligibility back. Thanks for the question.

    I just ordered a Lenmar battery for my Blackberry and didn’t recieve a confirmation number. How can I see that my order was placed?

    • Shonnell, I checked for your e-mail address in the system and couldn’t find you. Can you give me the e-mail address you used when you placed the order? I can look up your order with that, and I will not make it public here in the forum.

    WHY WAS MY ORDER CANCELLED?

    • Patricia, we show two recent orders from you, both originating on Jan. 7. The first was cancelled when you declined to give a deposit, and that should have been with your knowledge. The second order is still pending credit approval by T-Mobile. For what it’s worth, you have been approved for a pre-paid monthly plan. We should have the results of T-Mobile’s manual credit check later today, so call Wirefly at 866-852-3216 this afternoon to find out the results of that.

    Need to know if I can cancel an order before it is shipped?

    • Leslie, yes you can cancel an order before it is shipped. You can also refuse to receive an order once it has been shipped. Call Wirefly at 866-852-3216 to determine what you options are.

  • does the white blackberry bold 9780 for tmobile come in the original box like its coming for tmobile? and does it come with the battery and everything? also if we did not change carriers do we still use the same sim card that we have been using?

    • Shayna, yes the BlackBerry Bold 9780 (in any color) will come from Wirefly in exactly the same package that you’d get from T-Mobile. It will come with all standard accessories, including the battery. And yes, it will work with your current SIM card.

    i have a t-otimus lg 509 and does not workright, keeps droping out in the middle of anything that i my be doing. What do you suggest i do?

    • Glenn, is this a new phone that you bought from Wirefly? If so, contact Wirefly’s customer service (see the packing material you were sent) and arrange to have the phone replaced.If it’s not a new phone, I suggest you take it to a T-Mobile store and show them what it’s doing. It’s hard to diagnose something like this in a forum.

  • The HTC Incredible that I ordered through your organization needs repair. Where do I go to fix it??? I am near Reston VA.

    • Ray, how long have you had the Incredible? If it is less than 30 days, you should send the Incredible back to Wirefly using the return label that was included in your shipment. If it was more than 30 days ago, take it to a Verizon store and ask about repair.

      Let me know if you’ve had the phone less than 30 days but can’t find the return label… I’ll arrange for you to get another. As for hand-carrying it back, Wirefly’s main office is in Reston, VA, but the phones are shipped from our warehouse in Maryland.

    • Pam, Wirefly does not have a senior plan for Verizon. However, Wirefly does not carry all available Verizon plans, so I suggest you ask Verizon directly about a senior plan.
