  • Doesn’t it have an 8 megapixel camera?

  • I really dont know about what you guys are talking about. I went to niagra falls over the summer, my phone got completley destroyed from the humidity.the camera doesn’t work at all. I just get a black screen with no camera buttons or functions working. then, the sound is sooo low on notifications I cant even use the sound. have to put it on vibrate or else I wont know. to top it all off, the phone needs restarting once/twice a day.

  • This phone is great, i’ve been using it for the last 5 months and i absolutely love it. I’ve had previous android phones and blackberries, and the iphone, this is the best phone i’ve owned. With regards to your question about skype, you can use it over wifi or your carriers network. but, I’m not sure if the skype app supports video calls.

  • Any way to enhance the POOR Battery life (Out in one Day shot off,)and the inaudible sound It can hardly be heard….
    Thanks

    • Peter, which sound is low? Through the telephone ear speaker or through headphones? What is the volume like for something such as a YouTube video? I will need more information to answer your question.

  • I have two complains on this otherwise genious phone. First: The battery only last one Day ( Shot off)and Secondly: The sound is barely audible..Is there any way to enhance these set backs?
    Thank you

    • Peter, you need to go into your the “Settings” menu and touch the “Battery Manager” item. See what tasks are running that are consuming your battery. Shut down any tasks that you don’t want active. If you are not sure what a certain task is, look it up. If it’s something you don’t want, be sure you disable (or uninstall it) from your phone. Otherwise, without looking at your phone, it’s hard to say exactly what the problem might be. However, I have a myTouch 4G that keeps a full battery for weeks when turned off, so I know it can be done.

  • I’m just wondering if the phones are in really good shape and if the service is good. The price just seems to good to bo true!

  • I am not sure about Skype, but I don’t see any problem using the internet. I live in Belgrade, Serbia and have a G1 from T-mobile US that was unlocked by the company (a really nice T-mobile service, they do it for free). I get 3g internet without any problem. If my older phone works fine, this from the same carrier and company should be no problem.

My girlfriend has an unlocked iphone from ATT that can not use the internet.

  • would like to know if it’s possible to use SKYPE via WiFi with this phone WITHOUT the T-Mobile network (ie when outside of T-Mobile coverage) and without consuming talk minutes with T-Mobile?

also if one can use the browser to access the INTERNET when outside the T-Mobile network (eg overseas)?
