Perhaps one of the most promiscuous phones of the year, the HTC Touch Pro 2 has already made its way onto T-Mobile and Sprint’s networks. Beginning today, HTC’s Windows Mobile flagship device will be available on Verizon, with plans to also make its services available to AT&T in the near future, likely under the pseudonym Tilt 2.

Since our review of the Touch Pro 2 for T-Mobile, the handset has been equipped with a 3.5mm headphone jack and fitted with a Windows start button in place of the ‘Home’ button found on the T-Mobile version. Instead of the relatively drab mocha color, Verizon’s Touch Pro 2 has adopted a silver metallic color that gives it a sleeker overall look.

The Verizon Touch Pro 2 is still running the aging Windows Mobile 6.1, but will be upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5 when the newest version of Microsoft’s mobile operating system is released in October.

Like its T-Mobile counterpart, the Touch Pro 2 features HTC’s sleek TouchFlo 3D interface, a superior physical QWERTY keyboard, WiFi, a 3.2-megapixel camera, and HTC’s StraightTalk conference calling feature. As indicated by the outline of the globe on the back speaker grill, Verizon’s Touch 2 Pro is also a quad-band GSM and dual-band HSPA phone, making it capable of world roaming.
