HTC Hero

The HTC Hero will be the first Android handset to bear a Sprint logo, the wireless carrier announced today.

The Hero, revealed earlier this year, features HTC’s coveted Sense user interface and synchronization for built-in Google mobile services including, Google Search, Google Maps, Gmail and YouTube.

The Sprint-bound (and now chin-less) Android smartphone has a 3.2-inch multi-touch capable touch screen, 5-megapixel camera, GPS navigation, stereo Bluetooth, Sprint TV, visual voicemail, and support for up to a 32GB microSD card. Of course, the device also supports thousands of applications that can be downloaded from the Android market.

The HTC Hero will be available at Sprint stores beginning October 11th and Wirefly shortly thereafter.
