Last week LG issued a teaser press release announcing that it was it was nearing completion of the next generation of the company’s wildly popular Chocolate phone. The release advised that “Additional information and images will be made available regularly prior to the launch.”
Well, unless some talented and devoted LG fans spent the last week perpetrating an elaborate hoax, LG appears to be staying true to their word.
A video beginning its viral journey through the internet reveals a slim and gorgeous next-gen Chocolate complete with a supposedly scratch-proof 4 inch (diagonal) touch screen, multitouch, 7.2mbps HSDPA, WiFi, on-screen QWERTY, full HTML browser, and sleek Flash-based UI.
Yum.
UPDATE (7/14): It appears LG perhaps wasn’t ready to reveal the next-gen Chocolate to the world after all — the video seems to have been removed.
