Wales Cautions Teens on Texting While Driving with Graphic Video

In recent months, the media has driven the phenomenon of texting while driving squarely into the limelight. The last couple of months have seen no shortage of stories, reports, studies, and campaigns regarding the use of mobile devices while driving. Most of us are aware of the dangers, yet more often than we would like to admit we are guilty of figuring out weekend plans or checking our email while behind the wheel.

Well, the Gwent Police Department in Wales has decided to hammer home the possible realities of answering a seemingly innocuous text while trying to concentrate on the road. The video is startlingly graphic and perhaps not for the faint of heart, but I for one will think twice before I reach for my BlackBerry on my way home today.
