Existing Verizon Wireless Customers Upgrading To A New Device or Activating An Exchange
To prevent service interruptions in your existing Verizon Wireless service, your new phone is shipped to you “unactivated”.
If your new device is a 4G LTE smartphone, tablet, or connected device it utilizes a SIM card that will have unique activation instructions.
- Please DO NOT turn on your new Verizon Wireless 4G LTE smartphone, tablet, or connected device
- Your 4G LTE service must be activated before you power it on for the first time.
- To activate your 4G LTE service please call 888-843-2485. Our agents are available 9am to 10 pm Monday – Friday / 9am to 9pm Saturday (all times Eastern) to assist you with the activation of your new 4G LTE smartphone, tablet or connected device.
If you are trying to activate a non-4G LTE Phone that was purchased from Wirefly, your activation instructions are slightly different.

The activation process will begin automatically once we receive notification from FedEx that they have delivered your package. You can Login to our Customer Support site and track delivery right to your door or chat live with one of our customer service agents.
