It seems that Boost Mobile, a subsidiary of Sprint, is also joining in on the fun. The prepaid brand has just recently announced that they will be launching a promo (limited-time only) for users who want to enjoy more data without paying too much charges.
The promo, which will run from September 3 until November 3 of this year, promises to slash rates on its Monthly Unlimited Select plans by $5.00, at the same time, increase the high-speed 4G data usage two-fold for each plan user.
T-Mobile may have been edged by Sprint in terms of pricing for unlimited data when the latter introduced its $60 Unlimited Plan days ago. But now, the Uncarrier is introducing a new plan that it claims will prevent Sprint's customers from suffering a terrible fate.
Verizon is making a move to fix a loophole in its unlimited data plans. Starting August 24, users who want to upgrade their smartphones or activate their devices on a new service will need to get a data package for the full duration of their two-year plan. This change in policy is expected to make it even more difficult for customers to enjoy discounted smartphones without having to give up unlimited data usage.
Technology changes as quickly as we can snap our fingers. It seems like just when we feel like we know about the newest electronics to hit the market, something new comes out and racks our brains.
