Reddit, the social-networking-cum-viral-news website, has released an app specifically for its Ask Me Anything (AMA) feature. Running on iOS for now, this AMA app is a follow-up to another similarly-intended project that was launched back in January 2011, but failed to take off because of unresolved design issues, which resulted in lots of consumer complaints. Reddit has clearly learned from the 2011 experience, and are now taking the lessons to heart in creating an AMA app that should do the job this time.
Windows Phone has a lot of catching up to do with iOS and Android, at least in terms of popularity and market share. iOS and Android may be considered two of the more established smartphone operating systems existing today, but Microsoft has been making efforts to join the conversation. The latest of which is their recent cleaning up of their app store, which when done, should help put Microsoft in a nice position to compete with the best in the apps race.
Managing the apps on your smartphone should be pretty straightforward. But when you have so many apps that you are no longer sure which one does what, it may be close to becoming an inconvenience for you.
Fortunately for app hoarders, a certain developer named Steve Taylor has created an app which lets users search through their apps easier and faster. When Instagram was first launched several years ago, it was an app that ran only on iOS. Gradually, it began to expand to operating systems, namely Android and Windows Phone. Now, it is revisiting its iOS roots by launching a new app called Hyperlapse, which (for now) only works on iOS-run devices.

But just recently, Debi Lewis, a spokesperson for the carrier, made it clear that Verizon has no plans to do just that.
It's definitely something any parent can relate to: your teenage son or daughter ignoring your calls or text messages. Fortunately for frustrated parents everywhere, a certain mom decided that enough was enough.
Sharon Standifir hails from New York City, and just like any other disgruntled parent, she had had her fair share of being-ignored-by-your-teenager stories. So one day, she made a decision to create an app so that she won't have to be subjected to any mobile silent treatment again by any of her kids.
HTC is set to release its Zoe app to other Android smartphones this week. Zoe is a video remixing app that debuted on the HTC One M8 earlier in March of this year. But in a few days, this app will be made available to other Android devices, especially those that run on Android 4.4, the most recent version of the operating system.
Beats Music is the latest streaming music app to hit the Google Play, App Store, and Windows Phone App Market, but it is a little different than most streaming music services. While the new Beats Music app is free to download, it has a monthly subscription fee of $9.99 per month and does not offer a totally free version that includes advertising.
