Boost Mobile, a prepaid arm of major United States wireless carrier Sprint, has announced a new limited time promo for prospective subscribers who are looking for more bytes at a lesser price. As a matter of fact, its special offer can slash up to 50 percent off the customer’s current mobile phone bill.
The newest offer from Boost Mobile consists of a couple of lines of unlimited voice calls, unlimited text messaging, and unlimited data, with 10 gigabytes at high speed on each line of service, all for only $60 a month. Those wanting to get three lines of service (again with 10 gigabytes of high speed data for each line) can do so for $85 a month, while four lines of service with 10 gigabytes of data per line will cost $110 a month.
Boost Mobile’s latest special offer is good until April 5th of this year, and is made available to any new customer who are porting lines from plans on major wireless carriers such as Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Those who decide to switch to Boost Mobile via this newest promo can save thousands of dollars every year. Indeed, Verizon Wireless offers four lines of service with 40 gigabytes of shared data for $380 a month, while AT&T offers the same number of lines and amount of shared data at $360 a month. With Boost Mobile, you get four lines of 10 gigabytes of data per line at a much lesser price ($110 a month). As for T-Mobile subscribers, they currently get four lines of service with 10 gigabytes of data each for $120 a month. Boost Mobile’s offer may not be substantially better but $10 savings a month is still a minor win. Considering that Boost Mobile is a subsidiary of Sprint, it is not making its offer available to Sprint subscribers, although if you really want to know, Sprint gives you four lines of service with unlimited fast data for $150 a month, which means Boost Mobile still has the upper hand.
For those who are thinking of getting only two lines of service, here are your points of comparison:
Verizon Wireless -- two lines of service with 20 gigabytes of shared data, priced at $160 a month
AT&T -- two lines of service with 20 gigabytes of shared data, priced at $170 a month
T-Mobile -- two lines of service with 10 gigabytes of high speed data each line, priced at $100 a month
Boost Mobile -- two lines of service with 10 gigabytes of high speed data each line, priced at $60 a month
