About a month after it was officially unveiled, HTC’s newest flagship device -- the HTC 10 -- is coming to T-Mobile on May 18th of this year. Indeed, the third biggest wireless carrier in the United States has confirmed that it will be debuting the smartphone on its network next week. For interested parties, know that T-Mobile is charging $0 down and just a tad over $28 a month for a period of a couple of years for the handset. Moreover, to put some icing on the cake, T-Mobile has decided to offer a rapid charger, as well as a smartphone case, to those who purchase the HTC 10 between May 18th and May 24th, that is for as long as stocks last.
HTC first introduced the HTC 10 smartphone in April earlier this year. Many industry watchers observed that with its latest flagship device offering, the Taiwanese phone maker finally listened to various customer feedback regarding which aspects were to be improved. Thus, the HTC 10 possesses a much better camera compared to previous models. On the rear side is a 12 megapixel camera with 4K video recording and an optically stabilized f/1.8 lens that is capable of capturing images even at low light conditions. This camera also comes with a dual LED flash as well as a second generation laser auto focus system. On the front side is a 5 megapixel selfie camera that features OIS and an f/1.8 wide angle lens.
Other specifications of the HTC 10 include a 5.2 inch Quad HD Super LCD display screen, with resolution of 1,440 by 2,560 pixels and a pixel density of 565 ppi. Inside its sleek body, the device is equipped with a 2.2 GigaHertz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip set, supported with 4 gigabytes of random access memory (RAM) and onboard memory of 64 gigabytes. The handset comes with a 3,000 mAh battery and is powered by Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow mobile operating system.
Apart from T-Mobile, the HTC 10 has already been made available in Verizon Wireless. On Sprint, orders for the smartphone will start on May 13th. With regards to AT&T, although the HTC 10 will not be directly sold by AT&T, interested parties can still buy the handset from HTC’s official website, and then use the device with an AT&T SIM straight out of the box.
