Fresh from introducing its slimmest smartphone, the Galaxy A8, about a week ago, Samsung now adds a couple of super thin mobile devices to its arsenal -- the Galaxy Tab S2 tablets, two of its thinnest tablet devices yet.
The two new Galaxy Tab S2 devices basically continues what the previous year’s Galaxy Tab S offered -- that is, a tablet device option that not only focuses on top specifications but also in the sleekness of design. With just a thickness of 5.6 millimeters, this year’s Galaxy Tab S2 devices are thinner than Apple’s slimmest tablet offering, the iPad Air, which comes with dimensions of 6.1 millimeters. The two new Galaxy Tab S2 tablets are basically available in two editions -- an 8 inch edition and an 9.7 inch edition, weighing in at just 265 grams and 389 grams, respectively.

According to Samsung, the super AMOLED display screen is not only optimized for video viewing. It is also allows users to comfortably read ebooks, magazines, web sites, and news feeds.
For those snapshot aficionados, know that the Galaxy Tab S2 devices feature an 8 megapixel camera on the rear side, and a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front side.

Moreover, the memory can expanded to 128 gigabytes through micro SD cards. Software wise, the new tablets run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.
As officially stated by Samsung, the two new Galaxy Tab S2 devices will officially launch around the globe in August of this year.
