The fourth biggest wireless carrier in America has revealed that it will be reducing the price of its unlimited high speed data deal for families, and then offer its subscribers four lines of service for only $150 a month, basically the price of just three lines of service.
Beginning today, Sprint subscribers can avail of four lines of service, each coming with unlimited voice calls, unlimited text messaging, and fast 3G or 4G for $150 a month. If you break that down, that is equivalent to $37.50 for each line of service. Sprint has reduced the pricing on unlimited fast data for all multiple lines of service, with a couple of lines made available for $120 a month, and three lines of service for $150 a month. In other words, you can get the fourth line of service basically for free with this latest deal from the wireless carrier. Moreover, subscribers of Sprint are also free to get additional lines of service (up to a maximum number of 10 individual lines) for a further $30 a month per line.
It should be noted though that the $150 rate does not include any taxes or fees, or what users who buy new handsets will pay every month if they are purchasing via installment or leasing arrangements. And as of this writing, Sprint has not published the full terms and conditions of this latest deal yet. But it does not seem to involve any smartphone trade in, and appears to be open to both new and existing subscribers of the wireless carrier.
This latest offer from Sprint should be ideal for those users looking to get multiple lines of service that include unlimited voice calls, text messaging, and downloading. The typical setting normally has four lines of unlimited high speed data priced at $70 for the first line, and $60 for every new line added -- which makes it $250 a month in total. With Sprint’s newest deal, you get four lines of service while enjoying savings of a hundred bucks every month, which translates to $1,200 savings for the whole year.
No doubt some are thinking that Sprint is simply countering the competition in its latest move. Just over a week ago, rival T-Mobile had dropped its prices for its unlimited data plan, effectively giving its subscribers four lines of services with unlimited voice calls, unlimited text messaging, and fast data for $150 a month. Similar to Sprint’s newest offer, T-Mobile’s deal is also letting subscribers enjoy the option of getting additional lines of service for $30 a month for each line. The only difference is that T-Mobile’s offer allows for a maximum number of 12 lines of service connected to the unlimited data plan.
