This coming weekend, major US wireless carrier T-Mobile will be launching a new buy one, get one special offer that features Samsung’s flagship device, the Galaxy S7. Specifically, this latest two for one deal from the mobile operator grants customers a chance to get an additional Galaxy S7 unit free of charge after 24 monthly credits when they opt to get an extra eligible line of service on T-Mobile’s equipment installment plan. This offer will be made available in stores, online, and over the phone, and will run from Friday morning until Sunday evening.
For those customers currently signed up under rival networks and are thinking of switching to T-Mobile, they are free to combine the new BOGO deal with T-Mobile’s ongoing promo that promises to pay users up to $650 for each line of service or more by way of trade in credits for remaining phone payments as well as early termination fees from other wireless carriers.
T-Mobile’s latest promo should be of some help to Samsung, who is still somewhat reeling from the disaster that was Galaxy Note 7. Furthermore, the deal should also contribute in injecting some excitement to the early days of the holiday shopping season, which is racked not only by the absence of a Samsung flagship offering, but also by news of limited stocks for other high profile smartphone releases, such as Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus and Google’s Pixel XL.
Still, due to the fact that Black Friday is fast approaching, many industry watchers may consider T-Mobile’s latest move as something that should get the ball rolling in terms of holiday deals and promos. Indeed, another major wireless carrier, AT&T, is already readying its debut of a new OTT DirecTV Now deal, and is expected to make some noise in the next few days or weeks. Of course, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, and Sprint will also likely respond.
As for those who are eagerly awaiting Black Friday, they may want to check out the leaked offers by T-Mobile. It should be noted though that the deals mentioned in this leak are not yet finalized, which means that T-Mobile still can change them if it wants to. Still, it should give some users a bit of an idea of what to expect.
Also, almost a couple of weeks ago, T-Mobile also announced a deal that offers a $325 discount to customers who purchase a Google Pixel and activate it on the carrier’s network. For more deals, you can further explore phones and plans from T-Mobile at Wirefly now.
