Virgin Mobile, a mobile virtual network operator that uses Sprint’s network, has announced that it has increased the high speed data inclusions on its most in demand unlimited plans. The great thing about this is that customers will be able to enjoy more than double the data at the same regular price.
As for its prepaid unlimited plans, Virgin Mobile is deciding to retain its current monthly pricing, but has delightfully boosted the data allowance of each plans 4G to more than twice the size. However, customers should note that while they will be enjoying even more data with no additional fees, the new plans will no longer come with unlimited international text messaging and 100 international voice call minutes.
To summarize, the new inclusions of Virgin Mobile’s plans now include the following:
$35 Unlimited + More Data -- this already includes unlimited calls, unlimited text messaging, and unlimited data, with 1 gigabyte of high speed data (previously only 250 megabytes)
$45 Unlimited + More Data -- this already includes unlimited calls, unlimited text messaging, and unlimited data, with 3 gigabytes of high speed data (previously only 1 gigabyte)
$55 Unlimited + More Data -- this already includes unlimited calls, unlimited text messaging, and unlimited data, with 8 gigabytes of high speed data (previously only 3 gigabytes)
For customers who want ultra fast data, they can avail any time of any one of Virgin Mobile’s data packs priced at $5 for 1 gigabyte and $10 for 2 gigabytes.
All of Virgin Mobile’s plans will still have options for international inclusions, but customers will have to buy an add on pack on top of their monthly unlimited plan. For $5 a month, they can enjoy unlimited calls to landline numbers in Canada and Mexico, as well as unlimited text messaging around the world.
Those who frequently make calls to destinations outside of the United States, Canada, and Mexico, they can avail of the $10 international pack, which already includes unlimited calls to landline numbers in Canada, Mexico, and 70 other territories, plus 1,000 voice call minutes to mobile numbers in Mexico. Moreover, customers also get unlimited text messaging worldwide, and discounting voice call rates to 200 other nations.
As for Virgin Mobile’s $20 Talk and Text plan, it is now priced at $25 a month, and now features boosted minutes (500 minutes; previously only 300 minutes), and unlimited text messaging. Those who prefer the carrier’s $35 Unlimited + 300 Minutes plan will be disheartened to know though that the offer has been eliminated.
