Verizon Wireless has had excellent success with the DROID series of phones, most of which were manufactured by Motorola. Each iteration of DROID was a significant jump from the previous version, and the latest is no exception. The Motorola DROID 4 is the first of the sliding-keyboard DROID phones to feature connection to Verizon's 4G LTE network, and the goodies don't stop there. The DROID 4 also features a dual-core processor, a four-inch 540 x 960-pixel display, an eight-megapixel rear camera and a front camera for video chat. Shipped with Android 2.3 today, the DROID 4 is expected to receive an update to Android 4 (Ice Cream Sandwich).
In this video, Wirefly's Bob Kovacs shows off the Motorola DROID 4, demonstrates many of its features, discusses the camera and presents the results of a benchmark test. Take a look at the video to the right to get a better idea of what the DROID 4 is and how it operates.
