A year and three months after launching Jump! On Demand, the third biggest wireless carrier in America has apparently decided to quietly end the program. According to a report published by PhoneArena, staff from one of T-Mobile’s retail outlets has revealed that the program is no longer made available as an option for new customers, or for current subscribers looking to get additional lines of service to their account.
T-Mobile just unveiled a brand new iteration of its Jump! upgrade program. This time, the carrier is introducing Jump! On Demand, which allows its subscribers to upgrade their handsets up to three times every year.
About a couple of years ago, Verizon Wireless launched its Verizon Edge early upgrade plans. These plans were offered by the Big Red in order to give its subscribers a chance to upgrade to a new mobile device at the soonest opportunity. And now, the carrier is yet again making changes to the terms and conditions of the plans.
Beginning May 31st of this year, subscribers under Verizon Edge plans will be allowed to upgrade to a new handset at any time within the two year repayment period, as long as they have completely paid off the entire cost of their Edge phone.
