Yup, Microsoft has just released an Outlook email mobile app that works on the Apple Watch, the first and only wearable device created by Apple.
Indeed, the latest version of the Outlook email mobile app for iOS comes with several interesting features that enable mobile users to check their email inboxes, get alerts for incoming messages, and even create and make use of preloaded responses in replying quickly to emails.
There is no shortage of email clients nowadays -- there is Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, and Mailbox. But if you want to manage your emails more easily, you might want to check out Spark. Brought by the same crew who developed Readdle, Spark lets users sort their email messages into three basic groupings -- important notes, pins (starred email messages), and a third section for all of the rest. It can be used with the Apple Watch, too, which makes email management possible via the wrist.
Spark features a card-based interface that displays important messages from each of your email accounts, and then shows a list of pinned emails right after. Just beneath the app fold, all the other email messages that are not deemed important or starred are kept chronologically.
Email account hacking is a serious concern, and it is definitely something that most users are wary of. But if one takes the necessary precautions, the likelihood of getting hacked will be minimal.
And of course, a little help from Google doesn't hurt either. The tech giant is introducing a new tool that will allow users to easily check when and where their accounts have been accessed over the last month.
The tool, which is called the Devices and Activity Dashboard, lists all the devices connected to the user's Google Account and also provides data as to when and where the account has been accessed.
Google has recently launched its new Inbox by Gmail (or just Inbox) service to a very select group of users. The tech giant is hoping that Inbox will usher in a new approach to managing and reading email messages -- which means not only organizing related emails together, but also displaying different bits of data from separate emails into one single view. Inbox has been in development for some years now, according to the company. As one might expect, it is created by the same minds responsible for Gmail. And we all know how successful Gmail turned out to be in just a few years. Obviously, Google has the same high hopes for Inbox. So what exactly does Inbox bring into the table?
