Mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) FreedomPop has decided to team up with Dish Mexico in order to start providing free wireless services in Mexico. If this partnership proves to be a successful model, the carrier is looking to replicate its success in other mobile markets as well. Dish Mexico is owned by Dish and MVS Comunicaciones and is game in collaborating with FreedomPop in bringing free voice calls, text messaging and data access to Mexican mobile users.

As a countermove to Verizon Wireless’ announcement of new plans the previous week, T-Mobile has decided to tether the cost of a new smartphone with a line of service, and is offering this deal to new and current subscribers of its Simple Choice plans.
As part of its Uncarrier 11 campaign, T-Mobile debuted a mobile app called T-Mobile Tuesdays about a couple of weeks ago. One of the free giveaways promised to users of the app was free pizza, but it appears that the third biggest wireless carrier in the United States has been compelled to discontinue its free pizza deal, but only temporarily (we hope).
FreedomPop already provides its customers with international calling, domestic voice calls and text messaging and data. Now, the American wireless carrier mainly known for offering free voice and data services is debuting a brand new worldwide roaming product at a special offer price. Its Global 3-in-1 SIM card is targeted at mobile users who travel around the world a lot, but want to do away with paying roaming charges if they can help it.

As far as free mobile phone services go, FreedomPop may be considered the first one to offer 100% Free Talk, Text, and Data. It was back in 2012 when the carrier first introduced its completely free wireless service, alongside other very low cost phone plan options that are up to 80% off compared to other major carriers.
Nobody likes to be alone on Friday nights, but sometimes you are just not sure (or too lazy to find out) if your friends are free to hang out. Good thing there is an app that helps you meet up with available friends, that is, without making you look that desperate.
The Free mobile app just launched on the iOS platform. What it does is basically allow you to broadcast your plans (for the day or for the evening), or your lack thereof, and then launch a group chat that lets you connect with your friends who have time to just hang out.
