Samsung has finally joined in on the bandwagon of having its very own virtual assistant. Earlier today, the company revealed a new assistant by the name of Bixby. According to Samsung, the virtual assistant will launch with the much awaited Samsung Galaxy S8, which is expected to be announced next week.
According to a report recently published by SamMobile (which cited South Korea based tech website Naver), Samsung’s upcoming flagship device, the Galaxy S8, is said to be capable of shooting video footage at 1,000 frames per second (fps).
The latest rumor tied to Samsung’s flagship device for this year, the Galaxy S8, indicates that the Android powered handset will come in an expanded range of color options, including a gold colored option. What we know is the latest addition to the South Korean phone maker’s Galaxy lineup of smartphones will be officially announced this coming March 29th.
According to a report recently published by the Korea Economic Daily, Samsung’s highly awaited flagship device for this year, the Galaxy S8, could feature a facial recognition technology that should allow users to unlock the device more quickly.
Samsung recently tweeted that the Exynos 9, its new processor offering, will have support for dual camera smartphones. This is made possible through the South Korean mobile giant’s Dual ISP (Image Signal Processor) technology. Dual camera configurations are nothing new, of course.
A few days ago, leaked images emerged showing Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S8. But now, it appears that the specifications of the South Korean phone maker’s newest flagship device have been leaked by none other than Evan Blass (because, who else?) via a Twitter post.
Specifically, the specs are for the Galaxy S8 Plus. Of course, Samsung has not confirmed anything yet, but the leaked information may be worth checking out nonetheless:
