iPhone owners now have more reason to take good care of their devices. The prices for screen repair services of Apple’s smartphones have risen by twenty bucks. Apparently, the tech giant has chosen to introduce the changes in pricing quietly, but iOS mobile users have since taken to Reddit some time during the weekend to sound the alarm for fellow iPhone owners.
The initial deal offered by Sprint last week for the iPhone 8 allowed interested buyers to purchase the handset at half the usual price of a device lease spanning a period of 18 months. The wireless carrier, however, has decided to update the offer -- customers can now get their hands on a 64 gigabyte edition of the iPhone 8, free of charge, by way of a trade in deal and an 18 month lease. You can call Sprint at (844) 257-3516.
The preorder period for Apple’s iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus devices, as well as its Apple Watch Series 3, has officially started. Not surprisingly, it appears that the demand is comfortably outpacing the supply. The iPhone 8 models and the latest version of Apple’s smartwatch are supposed to be made available next week, specifically on September 22nd, but as recently reported by CNET, the shipping schedule of specific editions of the iPhone 8 devices are now listed as one to two weeks.
It is now official. For this year, Apple is releasing a trio of new iPhone models, namely the iPhone X, and the iPhone 8, and the iPhone 8 Plus, which are basically follow ups to last year’s iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus devices. Although Apple will start accepting preorders for the iPhone X at October 27th at the earliest, the tech giant is making the iPhone 8 models available sooner, specifically on September 15th - this coming Friday (more on these later).
For many, the arrival of September signals the start of the end of the summer season, and presumably the beginning of autumn. For mobile users across the globe, the onset of September really only means one thing -- Apple unveiling a new iPhone model (or more than one). This year, however, is sort of special.
According to a report recently published by Netherlands based website iCulture, the so-called iPhone 8 will not actually go by that name. The report states that the most highly awaited iPhone model ever will be called the iPhone X (or the iPhone Edition). Just to be perfectly clear, iCulture points out that there will also be an iPhone 8, but it will be used for what everybody is expecting to be the iPhone 7s devices. To be exact, it appears that apart from the iPhone X/Edition model, there will also be an iPhone 8 and an iPhone 8 Plus.
It turns out the report published by the Wall Street Journal earlier this week was right -- Apple has now begun sending out invites for an event happening this coming September 12th. For the record, this upcoming affair will mark the first time that Apple will host an event in Apple Park, the tech giant’s the new spaceship headquarters located in the city of Cupertino in California.
According to a report recently published by the Wall Street Journal, Apple is said to be planning to officially announce three new iPhone models, as well as a new Apple Watch with LTE connectivity next month, specifically on September 12. The report also stated that the tech giant is looking to take full advantage of the Steve Jobs Theater located in its new campus. However, if construction is not completed in the next couple of weeks, the company may decide to hold the unveiling in another alternate location.
