Back in January earlier this year, Microsoft introduced two new Lumia handsets that were priced under $100. The Lumia 532, which came with a 4 inch display screen and 5 megapixel rear camera, can be purchased for only $93. The other Lumia phone, the Lumia 435, was even cheaper -- featuring a 4 inch display screen and a 2 megapixel rear camera, the device only costs $77.
Now, Microsoft is introducing another Lumia handset that is even more budget-friendly than the Lumia 435 -- the Lumia 430, which is priced at $70. The device has roughly the same specifications as the Lumia 532 and the Lumia 435 with a few slight differences.
Microsoft recently announced two new additions to its Lumia lineup of smartphones: the Lumia 435 and the Lumia 532. Both handsets are expected to be launched next month most likely in European and Asian markets. These Lumia smartphones will be offered by Microsoft for a price not exceeding $100.
At only $77, the Lumia 435 is the most budget-friendly among the two new offerings. It features a 4-inch display screen with an 800 by 480 resolution, as well as a 2-megapixel camera on the rear side.
The Lumia 435 is powered by a 1.2 GigaHertz dual-core Qualcomm processor and has 1 gigabyte of random access memory (RAM) as well as 8 gigabytes of internal storage. It is designed for 3G networks so it will not be able to work on faster LTE networks.
