Those who just purchased their new Moto X Pure Edition handset and are planning to use their device on Verizon Wireless may be in for some disappointment. It appears that the biggest wireless carrier in the United States is not ready to activate Motorola’s new phablet in its vast network.
The Moto X Pure Edition smartphone is Motorola’s flagship device offering for 2015, and it is now available for pre-ordering, as promised. Interested buyers can get this handset from Motorola’s official online store, and if they purchase now, they can expect their phones to ship in the later part of September. Sure, customers can always wait for the Moto X Pure Edition to hit the store shelves of Amazon and Best Buy, but they should note that the smartphone will not be made available via wireless carrier payment plans or contracts.
Motorola has announced through Twitter that the Moto X Pure Edition, the phone maker’s latest flagship device for 2015, will arrive in the United States this coming September 3rd of this year. The American mobile manufacturer has since deleted its tweet, but not before several industry watchers have viewed it (here is a screenshot courtesy of Droid Life).
