The initial deal offered by Sprint last week for the iPhone 8 allowed interested buyers to purchase the handset at half the usual price of a device lease spanning a period of 18 months. The wireless carrier, however, has decided to update the offer -- customers can now get their hands on a 64 gigabyte edition of the iPhone 8, free of charge, by way of a trade in deal and an 18 month lease. You can call Sprint at (844) 257-3516.
According to a report by Wave7 Research and then picked up by Fierce Wireless, the fourth biggest wireless carrier in America has apparently decided to shut down its leasing program for Android powered mobile devices.
Sprint has recently announced that it has now included a couple of new devices, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and the LG G3, to Sprint Lease, a program that provides customers an alternative to buying handsets upfront, subsidized, or via an early upgrade scheme.
In addition, the Sprint Lease program also lets subscribers get a new handset for $0 outright, and lease the device for a specific monthly amount for a period of 24 months.
