The prepaid brand of the second biggest wireless carrier in America has decided to debut a new unlimited plan, as well as new smartphone devices and some discounts. Indeed, AT&T’s Cricket Wireless is introducing a new promotional plan that is only made available for a limited time. Basically, the special offer promises a couple of lines of service that come with unlimited high speed data for $80 per month.
CREDO Mobile, a mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that leases network capacity from Verizon Wireless, has recently and quietly introduced a new unlimited data plan this week. The announcement was made through the carrier’s official blog, which indicated that the new unlimited options include a single line of service of unlimited voice calls, text messaging, and data for a price of $80 per month, and five lines of service for a total price of $200 per month (or equivalent to $40 for each line of service).
Rather quietly, T-Mobile has chosen to terminate its special pricing for its One Plus unlimited plan, effectively increasing the price from $5 per month to $10 per month, on top of the monthly fee it charges for its standard One unlimited plan. Thus, a single line of service under the T-Mobile One Plus plan is now priced at $80 per month. As for four lines of service, that now costs $200 per month.
According to BayStreet Research, Virgin Mobile, the newly relaunched prepaid arm of major US wireless carrier Sprint, could sell between 100,000 to 300,000 units of Apple’s iPhone devices by way of Virgin’s new Inner Circle unlimited plan. For those not familiar with Inner Circle, it is a plan that offers budget friendly iPhone models paired with one year of unlimited service, free of charge, to customers who are willing to avail of the plan online.
The fourth biggest wireless carrier in America has officially rebranded its Sprint Prepaid brand into Sprint Forward. The new prepaid brand promises 4 gigabytes of high speed data for $40 a month, as well as an unlimited version that costs $60 a month. As explained by Oscar Meza, a spokesperson for Sprint, the new Sprint Forward brand was first created a month ago, and was designed for mobile users who are looking to get a wireless plan that comes with a flexible pay in advance set up.
It appears that Sprint has just introduced a new limited time special offer that promises one whole year of unlimited voice call minutes, text messaging, and data -- absolutely free of charge -- to those customers who decide to switch from Verizon Wireless, AT&T, and T-Mobile to Sprint’s network. This latest promotional deal is made available until June 30th and applies to five lines of service for customers who bring their own devices and SIM cards.
AT&T’s unlimited options include the Unlimited Plus, a high end plan that comes with a price of $90, and Unlimited Choice, a more affordable plan at $60 (but with connection speeds limited to 3 mbps and video content streamed at 480p standard def). These options are not bad, but in the ongoing unlimited data wars, no deal ever remains the same for long, because one’s rivals will always try to one up the latest offer.
The number six wireless carrier in the United States has decided to offer new unlimited data plans designed for business entities. Indeed, C Spire Wireless is aiming to attract the enterprise customers by introducing plans starting at $70 each for the first and second lines of service, with as many as half a dozen additional lines for $20 each.
These new plans are made available only for new lines of service activated on the mobile operator’s monthly device payment plans and mobile devices bought with no contracts. Similar to what other wireless carriers are doing, C Spire Wireless has a connection restriction set in place -- mobile users who consume more than 25 gigabytes of data in a given month may experience slowed down connection speeds.
Yet again, T-Mobile is offering another new deal for mobile users who are considering switching to a new network. The wireless carrier’s latest offer promises a couple of unlimited lines of service for a price of $100, or if the customer is already under an existing T-Mobile plan, he can get 2 more lines for the price of one. By signing up for the Auto Pay option, customers can enjoy all inclusive pricing.
T-Mobile is introducing a new special offer that is made available only for a limited time. In this promotional deal, the third biggest wireless carrier in the United States has decided to offer four lines of service of unlimited data for a price of $140. Specifically, users who opt to subscribe to a couple of lines of service of the mobile operator’s One Unlimited data plan will get to have a pair of extra lines of unlimited data for the price of one.
