Apple’s new iPhone 6s is scheduled to hit the South Korean market on October 23rd of this year. But apparently, Samsung (which is based in South Korea) wants to give its fierce rival as competitive a welcome as possible. That is why the South Korean phone maker is releasing its Galaxy Note 5 phablet in two additional colors -- one in pink gold and the other in titanium silver. Of particular note is the pink gold variant of the Galaxy Note 5 device, which appears to be a direct dig on Apple’s rose gold edition of its iPhone 6s handset.
LG has just unveiled the G4 Beat, a new and more affordable version of its latest flagship device, the LG G4. Positioned as a new midrange alternative to the G4, the LG G4 Beat continues the South Korean phone maker’s recent initiative to introduce brand new variants to its flagship smartphone. Some may remember that in May earlier this year, the company also announced two new variants to the LG G4 -- the G4 Stylus phablet and the budget friendly G4c.
The South Korean mobile giant recently announced a new variant of the Galaxy Note 4 that is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor. For those not in the know, the Snapdragon 810 processor is being positioned by Qualcomm as its flagship chip set for next year.
