The LG Spectrum is the latest Android phone from Verizon Wireless to feature a large display with 720p resolution. In addition to this true high-definition display, the Spectrum also features a 1.5-GHz dual-core processor, 4G connectivity on Verizon’s speedy LTE network, and surprisingly trim size and light weight. The technology tweaks don’t stop there — the display uses in-plane switching (IPS) for better visibility in daylight and lower power consumption, for example. The LG Spectrum looks to be a serious competitor among Verizon’s high-end 4G phones.

In these videos, Wirefly’s Bob Kovacs discusses the features of the Spectrum, performs benchmark tests, demonstrates video playback, gives samples from the camera and shows detailed operation of the phone. Click on the video windows above to the right to get all the details.
