Verizon Wireless continues to press the limits of smartphone technology with the release of the LG Spectrum. With a 1.5-GHz dual-core processor, 4.5-inch 720p HD display and surprisingly light weight, the LG Spectrum runs on Verizon’s speedy LTE 4G network. The technology tweaks don’t stop there — the display uses in-plane switching (IPS) for better visibility in daylight and lower power consumption, for example. The LG Spectrum looks to be a serious competitor among Verizon’s high-end 4G phones.
