there is a passcode on the samsung strive i got. is there a way you can reset it or something? we do not know the passcode
How do I get the incoming caller ID with both name and number to show on this phone?
Kleetah, there are two ways that both name and number will appear on the phone:
1. You program the number into the phone as one of your contacts. Then when that number calls, it will look at your contact list and tell you who it is.
2. The person calling has his/her account programmed with their name. When that happens, the name information is passed along as part of the caller ID. There’s nothing you can do to make this happen… the person whose account it is must either program it into their phone or contact their carrier to add the name information to the caller ID data.

i have a samsung srive and having problems with the person im calling hearing me. how do you mute and unmute? what can be causing this problem?
You might want to take the phone to an AT&T store and ask your question. Wirefly no longer sells AT&T phones, so we have little experience with them.
My smsung strive is the best. I love it!

You might try taking your phone to an AT&T store to see if someone there could help you. Good luck!

I have a Samsung Flight. My problem is whenever I place calls, my phone does not identify my number but instead reads unknown caller. This is very frustrating please help me undo the message and show my number in caller ID.
Corrine, the Samsung Flight is a fairly old (two years) phone. At this point, you probably qualify for a new free phone that would be considerably better than the Flight. However, you are on AT&T and Wirefly does not sell phones for AT&T. If you are willing to switch carriers, I can recommend several nice phones that will either be free or low cost, and all should be able to identify the calling number. Let me know and I’ll point you toward good phones on other carriers.
