The HTC ThunderBolt and Apple/Verizon iPhone 4 are both powerful phones with lots of features. One of the primary activities of people using these phones will be browsing the Internet, so the question comes up as to which device might be a better browser. With its big screen, the ThunderBolt has a more eye-filling display, but which phone can get from page to page with the fastest? The video on the right attempts to compare the Internet browsing capabilities of the HTC ThunderBolt and the Verizon iPhone 4.

Both are quick but is getting from page to page the fastest all there is?

The HTC ThunderBolt is coming soon to Wirefly at a great price.

Bob, I agree with Craig. Would be nice to see 3G vs 3G and 3G vs 4G.

    • The point of this particular test was to show how quickly the browser renders pages. It is not intended to show the data download speed. However, I agree that is a subtle difference.

  • Really? comparing the iphone to the thunderbolt isn’t fair to HTC. Their phones are to good to even be in the same room with apple crap =/

  • it was great! i mean great for watchin videos…

  • That was completely unhelpful. Can you do another test with these phone both on the 3G and then show the difference of the 3G of the iPhone against the 4G on the Thunderbolt. Including not only browsing, but download speeds, for video, pictures, etc…
