Despite reports earlier from TheStreet.com that Verizon had pulled the plug on plans to bring the Palm Pre to the carrier’s smart phone lineup, it now appears that there is no cause for alarm for those waiting to pick up a Pre stamped with a Verizon logo.

According to a story in E-Commerce Times, Verizon is denying rumors that the Palm Pre deal is on the rocks, confirming that the smartphone will still be hitting the network in January as planned. Other reports from All Things Digital and Boy Genius echo sentiments that the initial rumors surrounding a Pre-less Verizon are bottomless.
