Motorola is apparently working on a couple of new affordable devices: the Moto G50 and a mysterious device codenamed Motorola Hanoip.
Let’s take a closer look at these two phones in more detail:
The Moto G50 is a successor of the Moto G30. It is said to be equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. It is noted as the cheapest Motorola 5G smartphone to carry this chipset. The chipset is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
Other features include a 90Hz HD+ display, a 48-megapixel main camera sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth camera. Reports say that there will be ultra-wide and macro cameras, but these haven’t been confirmed yet. There will also be a 5,000mAh battery included.
This device is expected to be available in Europe in the coming months. The phone is said to retail at $229.
Right now, there’s very little information about this device. But it has been codenamed Hanoip.
This device is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 732 processor, which means it won’t come with 5G connectivity. Reports say that there will be a choice between a 4GB of RAM/64GB onboard storage or 6GB of RAM/128GB onboard storage.
Camera-wise, the device comes with a 108-megapixel HM2 sensor as the main camera on the back. It is also said to include a 16-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A fourth 8-megapixel sensor is also said to be available.
Right now, there’s no available pricing or release date information. But according to reports, this phone could be marketed as the Moto G70 or Moto G80.
