Earlier this month, Samsung announced that it will be unveiling the Galaxy S10 on February 20th. And as the date comes nearer, more and more details about the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy S10+ have been leaked on several reports.
The latest series of leaks show screenshots of the Galaxy S10 supporting blockchain storage as well as a secure wallet for some cryptocurrencies. The pictures were shared by concept designer Ben Geskin on Twitter, which also showed a clear photo of what the Galaxy S10 will look like.
The photo shows a welcome screen introducing Samsung’s Blockchain KeyStore, where users can use to import an existing wallet or create a new one. As seen on the screenshot, the wallet currently only supports Ethereum cryptocurrency. But SamMobilereports that the blockchain wallet will soon support Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, and ERC20 once the device launches.
Thanks to the leaked photos, this is also the first time we’re seeing the actual Galaxy S10.
Another recent report reveals the Galaxy S10+’s battery capacity and thickness. According to Ice Universe’s Twitter, the Galaxy S10+ will sport a 4100mAh battery and a thickness measuring 7.8mm.
There are no updates on what the battery and thickness of the flagship Galaxy S10 will be. Since these are not official announcements from Samsung, these new developments should be taken with a grain of salt. With the Samsung Unpacked event date coming nearer, we can expect more official news about the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and the foldable Galaxy F device real soon.
