If this latest AT&T leak is accurate, the carrier may soon have a new plan for people who do not mind paying extra for more convenience, more hotspot use, and better treatment on the network.
As reported by Android Authority, the rumored Elite 2.0 plan would include unlimited data and the same calling benefits in more than 20 Latin countries that come with AT&T Premium, but it would also raise hotspot access to 250GB and add 20GB of global data each month.
Another notable part of the leak is Turbo Unlimited. That feature normally costs extra and is meant to give users the highest priority on AT&T’s network, so having it included could be one of the bigger selling points for people who want the best possible connection when the network gets busy.
The plan also reportedly references smartwatch and tablet access, but that part is still vague. Right now, there is no clear explanation of whether that means included lines, discounted access, or something else entirely.
Then there is the price. The leaked information only lists four-line pricing at $75 per line, which would make it much more expensive than AT&T Premium. According to the report, one line would likely end up around $105 to $110 per month, though that has not been officially confirmed.
That means Elite 2.0 may be less about broad appeal and more about serving a very specific kind of customer: someone who travels often, uses a lot of hotspot data, and is willing to pay more for top priority service. For everyone else, this may look like one more example of a premium wireless plan that pushes the monthly bill higher than many people would want.
The other thing to remember is that this is still just a rumor for now. AT&T has not announced the plan, has not confirmed pricing, and has not shared a release date. But if Elite 2.0 is close to launch, it could end up being one of the carrier’s most expensive plan options yet
