Motorola recently unveiled its latest series of devices that it intends to release this year. The devices comprise three G-series models and another device that comes with 5G connectivity.
Here are the four models in more detail:
The moto g play (2021) is noted as the most affordable device. There is a 6.5-inch HD display with a notch. Powering it from within is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor with 3GB of RAM, 32GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
Camera-wise, the device has a 13-megapixel main sensor with a depth camera. In front, there is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It also comes with a 5,000mAh battery, a fingerprint reader, headset jack, and a USB-C connector.
The moto g play (2021) is priced at $170 and will be sold by AT&T, Boost Mobile, Consumer Cellular, Cricket Wireless, Google Fi, Metro by T-Mobile, Republic Wireless, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Xfinity Mobile.
The moto g power (2021) comes with a 6.6-inch display and is powered by a Snapdragon 662 processor with 4GB of RAM, 64GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. It comes with a 48-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera on the back. In front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, fingerprint reader, headphone jack, and USB-C. It will be sold at $250 but Best Buy will be offering another variant with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage for $200. The device will be offered by Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, Consumer Cellular, Google Fi, Republic Wireless, US Cellular, Verizon Wireless, and Xfinity Mobile.
The third g device that Motorola unveiled is the moto g stylus (2021). This device comes with a 6.8-inch full HD screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 678 chipset with 4GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion. There is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
Other features include a 4,000mAh battery, fingerprint reader, headphone jack, and USB-C. It will be sold at $300 unlocked but it will be offered by Boost Mobile, Consumer Cellular, Cricket Wireless, and Republic Wireless.
The 5G device that Motorola is releasing is called the Motorola one 5G ace. This device comes with a 6.7-inch display and runs on a Snapdragon 750G processor with 6GB of RAM, 128GB onboard storage, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion.
The device has a triple camera configuration on the back complete with a 48-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. In front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Other features include a 5,000mAh battery, IP54 certification for T-Mobile and IP52 for other models, NFC, fingerprint reader, headphone jack, and 5G connectivity. This device will be sold at $400 unlocked but will also be making its way to AT&T, Consumer Cellular, Google Fi, Metro by T-Mobile, Republic Wireless, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Xfinity Mobile.
All four phones will ship with Android 10 OS. Motorola promises that these devices will receive one full OS version update along with two years of security updates. All four devices are available for pre-order but will be released on January 14th.
