Earlier this month, HMD Global revealed that the Nokia 7.1 is already available to buy from select online retailers. Ever since the big announcement, there have been a lot of pre-orders for the smartphone.
Today, however, the Nokia 7.1 is already available from the top retailers like Amazon, B&H Photo Video, and Best Buy.
HMD Global has made a premium mid-range phone with the Nokia 7.1. This particular model carries a notch on its 5.84-inch PureDisplay with full HD+ resolution. Surrounding the display is a 6000 series aluminum frame.
From within, the Nokia 7.1 is powered by a Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. There are two cameras on the back: a 12-megapixel main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5-megapixel camera with depth sensor and f/2.4 aperture. In front, there is an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
Other features available on the Nokia 7.1 include Cat 6 LTE with dual SIM support, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX, and a fingerprint reader on the back. There’s also a built-in 3,060mAh battery that supports fast charging via USB-C. The phone also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, contrary to the new devices today.
Upon release, the Nokia 7.1 runs on Android One version of Android 8 Oreo. You can now purchase the phone for $349.
