Over 200M now reached by Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network

Verizon has some good news to its customers: Big Red’s 5G Ultra Wideband network now covers over 200 million people. Or as they share on their press release: “two out of every three Americans.”

With this announcement, Verizon is able to reach its milestone in the first quarter of the year. 

mmWave and mid-band frequencies make up Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network. Although mmWave is able to offer faster speeds, it comes with limited coverage. 

But thankfully, Verizon is working hard to continue adding more bandwidth to its mid-band 5G network, particularly in rural and urban areas. And this means the company is ready for more growth this year.
