It looks like Samsung is preparing to launch a special edition of the Galaxy S10+ in honor of the upcoming 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
The information, revealed today by NTT Docomo, shows that a special Samsung Galaxy S10+ Olympics Games Edition will be unveiled in time for the anticipated sporting event, which will be held in Tokyo, Japan on July 24-August 9 next year. According to the source, the special edition looks almost similar to the Galaxy S10+ in Prism White color. The special edition model, however, will come with a Tokyo 2020 Olympics insignia on the rear. Its specs remain the same.
Even though the sporting event is still next year, pre-orders for the device already started yesterday through NTT Docomo and will continue until a day before Samsung releases the device. An exact date has not yet been revealed but it is perceived that Samsung could start shipping the phone in late July this year.
As for the pricing, it is said to cost 114,696 Japanese Yen ($1,042).
